This particular tea cultivar — jin xuan — is celebrated for its naturally milky quality on the palate. Grown in Nantou County, in central Taiwan, the round-shaped leaves are allowed to lightly oxidize before being shaped into balls. As they are infused, a floral aroma and sweet, creamy flavor are released; the light-bodied tea stands up to several steepings.

A must for any fan of Nantou Four Seasons oolong.
