Try a small size—about three servings—of our Nantou oolong tea. Click here to order regular retail sizes.

This oolong is made from a cultivar that can be harvested year-round—si ji chun, which means four seasons like spring. It’s grown in mountainous Nantou County, Taiwan, in the central part of the island. The hand-picked leaves are oxidized about 15% and rolled into ball shapes in small batches; a final light baking yields to a powerful fragrance, nectar-sweet and floral.

Country: Taiwan
Tasting Notes: creamy, nectar, gardenia

Delicate but not Insipid!

If there were a tea perfect for pondering one's plan of action for the day, this is it. It has an herbal scent that unfolds with a mellow freshness on the tongue. Not a cup to be rushed on the way out the door.

A perfect afternoon treat - no sweetener needed. It's my first oolong and I'll be sure to order more.

Delicious! The first steep is bright, fresh, intensely floral (almost ...breezy?) and refreshing with no bitterness whatsoever, followed by an earthiness and tang that builds with each consecutive steep. I'm absolutely in love with this tea.

Very good tea -- especially for its price-point!
