This uniquely shaped Chinese green tea is produced near the Huang Shan mountains, in Taiping County, from the large leaf variety shi da cha.

After firing to stop oxidation, the leaves are carefully pressed between two screens as they slowly dry over charcoal. The resulting long, flat sword shape and crisscross pattern leads to a candy-sweet, dried fruit aroma with a balanced and crisp flavor. Note the rich emerald color with jade highlights in the leaf — this is an elegant and distinctive green tea.
