An iconic taste of the season, Darjeeling First Flush teas are eagerly awaited each spring. These light-bodied, intensely aromatic teas are produced in small quantities for only a few weeks, usually beginning in early April; only the new young buds and first leaves are harvested, and they undergo a hard wither process.

This small lot, from the Thurbo Estate, is incredibly well balanced and round in the cup. Deep aromas of violets and alfalfa fade into a lingering, candy-sweet fragrance; juicy flavors of lemon and almond are full, yet soft.
