An iconic taste of the season, Darjeeling First Flush teas are eagerly awaited each spring. These light-bodied, intensely fragrant teas are produced in small quantities for only a few weeks, usually beginning in early April; only the new young buds and first leaves are harvested, and they undergo a hard wither process.

This selection is from Muscatel Valley, the highest elevation section of the Goomtee Estate. A full-flavored, slightly darker First Flush, the leaf releases a sweet aroma of asparagus and green vegetables; notes of lemon peel and cedar are balanced by a refreshing astringency.
