Description

Sencha
This is a traditional Japanese green tea with tightly rolled, needle-shaped leaves. It was picked in early spring after the leaves have developed their balance of sweetness and astringency. The liquor is bright in color, with a clean finish, and a taste somewhat reminiscent of seaweed. True Sencha differs in character from most Chinese-style green teas not only with its sleek, dark green appearance but its higher green notes compared to nuttier, vegetal notes. It goes well with seafood and is brilliant with chocolate.

Genmaicha [GEN-my-cha]
A traditional Japanese green tea, Genmaicha is a favorite with people of all ages. It is made from bancha tea and popped, roasted rice. Genmaicha is soothing and mellow; the popped rice adds a wonderful balance of roasty aroma to the refreshing green tea.

Jasmine Pearls
These wonderfully fragrant pearls are soothing to drink and magical to watch as they slowly unfurl into beautiful leaf and bud sets. Crafted from spring-picked, southern Chinese green tea and fresh jasmine blossoms, each individual pearl is a set of tender, silvery leaf buds, carefully rolled and then dried amid fresh jasmine blossoms.
