A black (shu) pu-erh from Yunnan, fermented and compressed into a traditional bingcha shape in 2007. The flavor is lightly earthy and sweet, with a pleasant aroma of freshly sawn wood. It is smooth and drinkable now, and should gain richness and complexity with age.
