Butterfly Gaiwan Set
Butterfly Gaiwan Set

Beautifully hand-painted with butterflies, this delicate gaiwan and matching sharing pitcher were crafted in Jingdezhen, the traditional home of Chinese porcelain. Both hold up to 4 oz of liquid, and are ideal for use in gongfu cha-style tea service. Tea leaves are placed in the gaiwan for steeping; the lid is used to sieve the leaves away as the liquid is decanted into the sharing pitcher. The brewed tea can then be distributed into cups.
