Twelve Trees "Tung Ting" Oolong
During the Ching Dynasty, a local farmer from Luku, Taiwan, returned from Fujian, China, with twelve tea plants. These he planted along the shores of Chi-ling Lake, and it was these twelve trees, so the story goes, that gave birth to the world-renowned Tung Ting oolong from Taiwan. A richly aromatic medium oolong of exceptional quality, this tea is handpicked and slowly crafted over a period of five days. Take note not only of the smooth body, but also of the rich golden liquor and sweet lingering aftertaste.

Yinzhen Bai Hao [YIN-zhen buy how] (Silver Needle)
The rarest and most spectacular of the white teas. Early in the spring, the individual leaf buds are picked and carefully handcrafted into this noteworthy tea. Infuse in a glass to enjoy the dance of the green leaf bud spears. Each bud is covered with white downy hair and the tea is known for its buttery, nutty flavor. Packed with antioxidants and low in caffeine - a very healthy tea. This is our highest grade and was grown near Fuding, in northern Fujian.

Sencha
This is a traditional Japanese green tea with tightly rolled, needle-shaped leaves. It was picked in early spring after the leaves have developed their balance of sweetness and astringency. The liquor is bright in color, with a clean finish, and a taste somewhat reminiscent of seaweed. True Sencha differs in character from most Chinese-style green teas, which have nuttier, vegetal notes. Sencha has a sleek, dark green appearance, with higher green notes. It goes well with seafood and is brilliant with chocolate.

Darjeeling 2nd Flush
This was grown above the plains of India on the Goomtee Estate. The second flush is unique, lighter than most black teas with a flavor complexity that make good ones sought after worldwide. The leaves are coppery and attractive with a consistent size indicative of good processing. After steeping, the slightly floral aroma is revealed as is the heady herbacious flavor.
