Teas of China

The origin of tea plant traces its roots to Yunnan Province in southern China. Tea culture began here as well, before being exported to other countries around the world. China is known for it's skill in producing all the different styles of tea.

This tea was made on a small farm in the Bailin area of Fujian Province, near the coast of the East China Sea. Harvest was in the Winter of 2011. The leaves are twisted and elegant, hand-rolled with plentiful golden leaf buds. This full-bodied tea has notes of chocolate and honey with a smooth, earthy finish. Brewed gong-fu-style, it holds up to multiple infusions.
