The original 'Dragonwell', a pressed flat yellow shaped leaf of the bud and leaf set, hand pressed in a hot wok. Grown on high mountains away from the city centers that Dragonwell is subject to, the pristine air and water quality produces a high chestnut fragrance and long lingering fresh taste on the palate. We feel that the Dafang Green is superior to the Dragonwell Green this year, so please taste and compare!
Grown in the hills of the Huang Shan mountain range, these hand-harvested leaf sets are made in the shape of bamboo leaves. Sweet and bright, this unique green tea holds up to higher temperature steeping without extracting any bitterness.
This distinctive style of green tea is only produced around Taiping lake. The leaf is picked larger than most green teas and after firing it is pressed between two screens as it slowly dries over charcoal. This imbues the leaves with a clear green, nutty flavor with a light orchid fragrance.
